         Three Republican members of Michigan’s House of Representatives introduced a bid to impeach Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Wednesday, accusing her of 'corrupt conduct in office' and 'exceeding her constitutional authority' for her coronavirus restrictions. The resolution was introduced by GOP Reps. Beau LaFave, Matt Maddock and Daire Rendon. Whitmer’s spokesperson Tiffany Brown said on the resolution: 'Gov. Whitmer doesn’t have any time for partisan politics or people who don’t wear masks, don’t believe in science and don’t have a plan to fight this virus.'            Whitmer ran for governor in 2018 and easily won the gubernatorial (governor) election over Bill Schuette by almost 10% of the vote, blaming Rick Snyder and the Republicans over the Flint water crisis. During the pandemic, after it was known that hydroxychloroquine was an effective treatment for the Corona virus, Whitmer banned doctors from prescribing it, and threathened to revoke their medical license.     On the night of October 1, 2017, Stephen Paddock , a 64-year-old man from Mesquite, Nevada , opened fire upon the crowd attending the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. Between 10:05 and 10:15p.m. PDT , he fired more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition from his 32nd floor suites in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, killing 60 people and wounding 411, with the ensuing panic bringing the injury total to 867.       The term “Mandela Effect” began when it was first coined in 2009 by Fiona Broome when she published a website detailing her observance of the phenomenon. Broome was at a conference talking with other people about how she remembered the tragedy of former South African president Nelson Mandela’s death in a South African prison in the 1980s.
