Transhumanism
The belief or theory that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limitations, especially by means of science and technology. Think HAL from 2001, it turned on them. The coming years will usher in a number of body augmentation capabilities that will enable humans to be smarter, stronger, and more capable than we are today.
